Pier15 is a new venture jointly hosted by art collectives Papertown and Die Lichtfabrik. As a studio, an art room and a space for social engagement, Pier15 aims to be a port for cultural projects and people interested in art. The weekend 12 Oct. – 14 Oct. will host its big opening event, with a series of concerts, exhibitions and classes.

From 17:30 on Friday, 12 Oct., the Academy of Fine Arts (Akademie der Bildenden Künste) opens the weekend with an exhibition on "Taking the Academy to the Streets". Saturday, 13 Oct. is a busy day featuring a wake-up yoga session, brunch, dance lessons, a presentation from the hosts and a live concert with Clara Flower and Daniel Kern. The weekend culminates with an open day from 10:00-18:00 on Sunday 14 Oct., where you can wind down and appreciate the space after a weekend of partying.
